Three threads run through every piece

Found materials
Salvaged yarn, copper offcuts, petroleum-based fabric nobody wanted. Everything begins as something on its way to the landfill.

Rote hand-making
Stitching, braiding, knotting, weaving. The smallest repeated actions open up time to breathe and quiet the part of the brain that wants a result.

Social engagement
Set out needles and thread and people sit down who would never call themselves makers. The sitting down together is the work.
